About the festival

The primary goal of the Short Film Festival FF600 is to present the works of promising young authors to the public and to the professional film-makers.

The programme of FF600 is divided into 6 categories:

  • animation,
  • music video,
  • one-minute-films,
  • experimental films,
  • short fiction and
  • documentary films.

The submitted works compete in individual category for the jury prize. The jury, consisting of three professional film-makers each working in a different field of film production, awards the most outstanding work in the category.

The Festival does not focus on any particular theme. Authors are free to submit works addressing all kinds of topics, the only limitations are the length, that should not exceed 20 minutes, and the year of production.

Thus the programme gives an insight into current short film production and into themes, which seem relevant to the authors.

Best regards, team FF600''!
